Focusing his practice to criminal, wills and trusts, and bankruptcy matters, Shawn is a consummate litigator.  He has made appearances in hundreds of cases and conducted numerous preliminary hearings, motions and trials.  Shawn’s criminal trial experience includes misdemeanors and felony cases ranging from traffic violations to serious and violent home invasion robberies.

Shawn graduated Cum Laude in from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He is admitted to practice in the State of California.

Prior to joining CLG, he worked as a Deputy District Attorney for Madera County. As a prosecutor, he handled all aspects of criminal law cases including initial filings, motions, trials, judgments and post-judgment appeals.

Shawn also clerked for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.  In this capacity, he performed legal research and mediated disputes between employers and employees before litigation. Shawn also interned for the Alternate Public Defenders, and worked as a staff and family law attorney for the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program.
